Rule 316 Basic Dust Control Training

This class provides an overview of air pollution rules and regulations that the non-metallic mineral mining industry are required to follow.  This class is geared towards crushing and screening operations, asphaltic plants, and concrete product manufacturing.  This class is the minimum requirement for water truck and water-pull drivers (including subcontractors), and site superintendents or plant managers and foremen on a non-metallic mineral mining site.  

This class takes approximately three hours to complete.

Class purchases are nonrefundable.

Maricopa County Air Quality Department(MCAQD) online dust control training courses are for sole use of the single registered individual. No part of MCAQD materials or issued dust control certifications may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical, including photocopying, recording, or by any information storage and retrieval system without the express written permission of the department.

Customers registered for dust certification courses provided by Maricopa County Air Quality Department have 60 days to complete the course.
