Customers registered for dust certification courses provided by Maricopa County Air Quality Department have 60 days to complete the course. Access to the learning system will expire after 60 days, and training fees will be forfeited.
Should customers not complete a course within the 60-day timeframe and still need a certification, an new course registration and the fee payment will be required.
Please be aware that work performed without a valid dust control certification may result in the issuance of a notice of noncompliance.
Dust Control Certification Cards are not a valid form of state identification and cannot be duplicated or transferred for use by any other person or entity. Tampering with or forging a dust control certification card is a class 4 felony under A.R.S. § 13-2002. Dust control certification cards will be verified for authenticity during assessments of permitted facilities and other applicable earthmoving operations.
